• Born in Ferrara (ITALY), the 6th of May 1974.

• 1993: High-School Degree at the "Liceo Scientifico A. Roiti" in Ferrara

• 2000: Laurea Degree in Electronic Engineering at Department of Engineering of the University of Ferrara.

• 2001-2004: Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering at DEIS (Department of Electronics, Computer Science and Systems) at the University of Bologna, under the supervision of professors Maurelio Boari and Antonio Corradi

• 2004-2005: visiting researcher at the Hewlett-Packard Laboratories in Palo Alto (California).
