University of Electronic
Engineering in Bologna (Italy). Graduated with the first-class degree in the information-technology area (100/100 cum laude). The thesis(*) was in the field of: Networks of workstations
and parallel computers. Distributed programming

Experiences | |

||
| In the period
of the university education, I worked as a Laboratory Assistant for the
course of "Applied Electronics" as well as Tutor in one of the
computer laboratories inside the Faculty of Engineering at the University
of Bologna. After the degree
I worked for 6 months at the University with an IBM grant researching in
the field of videoconferencing and multimedia databases. Since the end of
my military service I’ve been working on the EEC
project (BRE2-CT94-1417/CRAFT) with the title: "Paint manufacturing
Process Optimization for the Building industry, using original bases and
pigment formulation". In this project I have to develop a Realistic
Paint Viewer in order to show, using ray-tracing algorithms, the outcome
of a painted surface, and to design the user interface of the whole system. During the summer
time I used to work as a pianist in some Hotels in Rimini
neighbourhood . |
