The RAMP middleware already supports the following plug-ins.
Visit the API page to learn how to extend the RAMP middleware implementing your own plug-ins.
- Continuity Manager
Continuity Manager enables reliable messaging (sort of opportunistic networking) and dynamic re-discovery of paths to the destination.
- Buffer Size Manager
Buffer Size Manager allows to modify the chunk size of traversing split packets.
- OS-based Routing
On Linux platforms it is possible to allow remote nodes to modify local routing tables, to exploit the local device as NAT router (NOT REQUIRED to enable RAMP-based multi-hop packet dispatching)
